Art from Scrap
Art From Scrap has many faces.
It is an arts and crafts materials reuse store, an environmental education organization, and an arts program. About 15,000 kids a year in Santa Barbara County come into contact with Art From Scrap through schools, youth and service organizations, environmental and art groups, and local festivals. Many more kids and adults know Art from Scrap from their store. First Crescent collaborated with Flash Designer, Photographer, and Artist, Andreina Diaz to redesign the Art From Scrap website. The website was developed with a Content Management System for the continually changing art shows and events. As is often the case, Art From Scrap has continued working with First Crescent for website maintenance, revisions, and ongoing site upgrades.
