Award winning Web Site
In collaboration with GC Creative of Los Angeles, First Crescent developed Snaidero’s stunning web site, including a fully integrated content management system. This site is the proud recipient of Graphic Design USA Award
Problems
The original web site was developed completely in Flash. It was hard to navigate; customers complained that they could not find their way around the site. Even though the web site looks good, what good is it if customers cant use it? Also because of the nature of Flash technology, the Sanidero web site was not Search Engine Friendly. Lastly, and probably most importantly the old web site was not easily maintainable. Snaidero is continuously creating new inventory, products and innovations. However the old web site by design required a web master to update the product lines.
Solutions
First Crescent along with GV Creative completely redesigned and rebuilt the web site from the ground up. This time the issues were addressed and remedied one by one. The new site contains gorgeous graphics with content all presented in an easy-to-navigate format. We developed the web site integrating best-practices for Search Engine Optimization) utilizing HTML, stunning graphics and JavaScript animation as opposed to Flash. Finally the site was developed with a completely integrated Content Management System. Snaidero can now maintain their web site adding products, content pictures and information easily by logging into their custom designed Administration panel.
