Kazmir the Flying Camel
First Crescent created this Multimedia eCommerce web site for the children’s audio book Kazmir the Flying Camel.
This project was a collaborative effort with Gina Vivona, GV Creative!
Problems
Gina, the creator / producer of the Kazmir audio book wanted a web site that served the young-people audience as well as their parents. The original web site had navigation problems as well as an out of date design. Gina wanted a new site that was as creative and enticing as the book itself. She wanted to sell downloads of her book and the theme song. Lastly Gina wanted to have an online-community, a blog for readers, parents to all meet and share ideas and comments online.
Solutions
First Crescent met with Gina to discuss the many options for her new web site. Since Gina is a wonderfully creative artist and in fact has her own graphic design business, an agreement was struck to create the new web site as collaboration between First Crescent and Gina. Gina would design and create the User Interface under the guidance of First Crescent while First Crescent would ultimately render the art into a real web site. It was magic from beginning till launch as evidenced by the live web site. First Crescent brought her lively artwork to life along with a multimedia presentation (QuickTime/Flash Movie) for the home page.
In addition to building this web site, First Crescent highly-interactive social networking modules with a custom Blog, FaceBook and Twitter accounts. Lastly First Crescent integrated a 3rd-party application for selling audio downloads online.
