They specialize in Teak furniture but also offer cast aluminum furniture outdoor umbrella, and imported European textiles and fabrics.
The original web site was developed using an older Microsoft technology ASP pages. As a result the old site had literally been hacked and was eventually taken down leaving only a remnant 2 or 3 web pages. Lastly, and most importantly the old web site was not easily maintainable.
First Crescent completely redesigned and rebuilt the web site from the ground up. The site has a stunning layout and design complemented with an easy to use navigational/product display system. The catalogue and product displays offer an intuitive navigational system allowing the web visitor the ability to easily find what they are seeking and drill down to a product page complete with blow-up images and downloadable tear-sheets.
Further the web site offers web visitors the ability to create their own “user account”, save products to their “wish-lists,” email the product page to a friend, or email their entire wish-list to a friend or client.
First Crescent created a completely separate web site to display their fine inventory of fabrics and textiles. The web visitor once again has an easy to use intuitive navigational system to search Giati’s substantial inventory of fabrics. Visitors can search by categories, by color, or by patterns. The Fabrics web site also offers “user accounts” save fabrics to their “wish-lists,” email the fabrics to a friend, or email their entire fabric wish-list to a friend or client. The fabric site “user accounts” link to the Giati furniture accounts too. Unique to the fabric web site, visitors can also choose fabrics and their “coordinates as well.” The site-wide search function works very well.
First Crescent designed and developed a custom Content Management System for both web sites. Giati’s web site administrator can login to add inventory, update text, copy, add new images, add or delete press releases, add or delete gallery photos, delete old inventory and review the user’s member’s lists.
