From the first email contact through the final launch, we are with you every step of the way. After nearly 20 years in the web development business, we are experts at creating and developing memorable and effective websites. We have broken down the web development process into 4 fundamental steps:
All website projects begin with the discovery or preproduction phase. Whether the project is a brand new website or a redesign, this is where we sit down with the customer and complete our own unique Preproduction Survey together. Together we answer fundamental questions like: Why do you want a website? Who is the audience? Who do you want on your web design team? How much do you want to spend? Wants versus needs? What are the goals of the new website?
It should be noted that the preproduction is often the most time-consuming part of the project. Proper Prior Planning …! We determine the look and feel during preproduction. We also determine the site navigation and call to action. Our artists work with you to find the most effective website layout and design for your website. The new website design is determined during the preproduction.
Preproduction is where we plan every aspect of the project. Once we have plotted our course it is easy to get where we are going. Production is where we actually develop the website. We actually create the web pages from the selected design. We integrate the website into a site-architecture based up the new navigation schema. The first roll out of the website is actually built in a secure development or work-in-progress environment and is only available to the web team for viewing. Google Analytics, SEO key words and phrase are all integrated into the website during the production phase.
After the beta site is up and reviewed by the web team, all edits, revisions, corrections and tweaks are submitted as feedback to First Crescent. We take the time to go “back and Forth” as many times as needed to get it right. It has to be perfect for the customer before we launch. 301 redirects are added for SEO as the website is prepared for its launch.
The final launch is a great day for everyone. The website DNS settings are changed with the domain name record and the new website is launched.
