First Crescent Designs, LLC utilizes a hybrid team concept with primary offices and core team located in Santa Barbara, California. Our design & development team is comprised of numerous talented individuals with a variety of specialties including:

The Core team works in concert and close proximity with each other affording constant feedback, interaction and Extreme programming techniques as suggested by Beck. THe remaining team members work from their own respective offices. Team members are drawn into various projects as their talents are required.

Stan Krome – Owner, Founder

Stan Krome’s 28-year track record with technology, project management, business communication, computer training, radio broadcasting, sales, marketing, web design, and new media production has given him an extraordinary breadth of business experience rarely found in Internet professionals today.

Mr. Krome has co-authored the popular series “How to Build a Successful E-Commerce Website” published in Silicon 2.0. As one of the first graduating classes in Multimedia Arts and Technologies at SBCC, Stan and his team received an Award of Excellence as a Showcase winner for their multimedia project for the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum. Stan is the founder and owner of First Crescent Designs, LLC specializing in user-centered web design and new media production. He has been teaching Web Design and Web related classes for UCSB Extension since 2001.

Andrea Arredondo – Art Director and Web Master
Andrea's creative genius and technical competency offers First Crescent Designs, LLC a wealth of digital skills and artistry. Born and raised in Chile, Andrea's use of color in layout and design work has satisfied First Crescent clients repeatedly.

Robert Young
Robert has been the architect and lead programmer for both large and small projects for over 10 years. Some of the larger projects include the development of a "student participation tracking system" which currently manages student accounts at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, as well as similar systems at Cornell, Wharton School of Business, and approximately 90 other departments around the world.

Robert has also been approved as a General Dynamics sub-contractor, servicing one of the most important Air Force bases in the country. Medium-size projects include custom Content Management Systems (CMS) -- where clients can manage their website and data structures with relative ease -- and custom Shopping Cart Systems. Smaller projects are usually "plug-ins" designed to integrate into existing web-based structures to enhance the client or customer experience. Some examples of these are calendaring systems, payment gateway systems, database tracking systems, etc.

Robert has a unique perspective on system architecture and design. Although degreed in Business, his experience as a Fortune 500 Marketing & Operations Manager always led to designing a better way to run the business, usually through technology. This developed the specific ability to create solutions that cater to the needs of the operation; using technology to enhance the operation, rather than the traditional "make Operations adapt to Technology" approach.

Robert's focus is on LAMP-based systems (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), as they seem to be the easiest for clients to manage and the most cost-effective. In addition, client systems are kept confidential, and not revealed for personal promotion. This is the reason that many of the specialty contractors look to Robert to handle sensitive projects. As such, projects requiring encryption, SSL or special security protocols are welcome.

Art is a 30-year veteran advertising executive originally trained at the Art Center in Los Angeles. His lengthy resume includes Ogilvy & Mather, Dentsu/Young & Rubicam, Bozell Worldwide and Evans Hardy & Young. His mastery has been utilized by such giants as: American Savings, Diahatsu, Del Taco, Great Western Bank, Hills Bros. Coffee, Kawasaki Motorcycles, Mattel Toys, Panasonic Electronics, Santa Barbara Savings and many more.

Dianne Gomersall, Owner Gomersall Design

Dianne demonstrates the full scope of both traditional and technological multimedia services that will propel your business into the future. High-quality graphic design is the key element to the success of any marketing campaign and the means to forge identity and recognition. Gomersall specializes in Logo development, Corporate Identity packages, Print Media, digital design, and multimedia creation.

Dana Welch – Illustration & Design
Dana is an exceptionally gifted illustrator and web designer. He is just coming into his own as a digital designer and has been asked to be a part of the First Crescent virtual team.

Andreina Diaz – Photographer & Digital Artist, and Flash Programmer
Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela where she worked for Advertising Agencies, McCann Erikson and Concept Publicicidad. In the USA, she worked as TV producer for NBC and the Hispanic TV giant, Univision. Today she expresses her creativity and vision, working as a commercial photographer and Graphic designer. Andreina holds a Bachelors Degree in Commercial Photography with a minor in Digital Imaging from Brooks Institute. She is a welcomed asset to the First Crescent stable of artists.

Suzan Kucukunsal – Web Master and Digital Artist
Born and raised in Turkey, Suzan attended T.E.D. Ankara College and Bilkent University where she received her B.S. After a stint in the business communications world, she furthered her studies in the web world and digital arena in Italy, Germany, and USA. Her creative flare and multinational background has earned her high marks on the First Crescent team.
