First Crescent Designs, LLC has been developing web sites since 1997 and offers a plethora of resources including a virtual team of talented programmers, digital artists, eSpecialists, user interface specialists, and project managers with over 80 years of combined digital design experience. FirstCrescent specializes in End User designed web sites.

Primary offices are located in Santa Barbara, CA 93109. Our design and development team is comprised of numerous talented individuals with a variety of specialties each working from their own respective offices.

Stan Krome First Crescent's founder named the company after his first sailboat the "First Crescent."

FirstCrescent has worked with a wide variety of web hosting solutions utilizing UNIX and Linux based servers with Apache, as well as Microsoft IIS/6x on Microsoft Windows 2003 Server. FirstCrescent uses the latest web editing and digital imaging software including: Photoshop CS3 Extended, Fireworks CS3, DreamWeaver CS3, Flash CS3, Illustrator CS3, Freehand MXa, Discreet Cleaner XL 1.5, Sony SoundForge Audio Studio 8, Acrobat 8, and many other essential applications. In addition, the First Crescent team offers proficiencies in Blogging, RSS, Podcasting, HTML 4, XHTML 1, DHTML, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets, Perl, CGI, PhP, MySQL and ASP.

First Crescent also focuses on cross-platform compatibility. All web development is tested on a wide-variety of PC's and Macintosh computers testing Internet Explorer 6x and higher, Netscape 7x as well as AOL, MSN, and Mozilla Firefox. First Crescent develops in a Windows XP, SP2 environment while simultaneously backwards compatibility testing all production work in Windows 9x, and Macintosh Panther OSX and 9.2 operating systems.
